A segment on a private plot in a gated Bahamian millionaires' estate. Nobody has established who owns it or when it arrived.
A segment stands on private ground at Lyford Cay, the gated estate at the western end of New Providence where a good number of the world's wealthiest people keep houses, and which is largely screened from everyone else. Who owns the segment and when it reached the Bahamas could not be established by the Foundation; its own reading is that an American most likely had it shipped.
It is the least visible record in this catalogue and one of the most useful, because it marks the far end of a range. At one end the Wall is a public memorial with a plaque and an anniversary; at the other it is an ornament on a lawn behind a gatehouse, belonging to somebody whose name is not recorded.
How did it get here?
Not established. The Foundation considers it likely that an American arranged the shipment.
