Where Is The Wall is a project to document the physical traces of the Berlin Wall in Berlin and around the world. The database is the historical project. The globe is the discovery interface. Each location page is a permanent record.

We are building a place for carefully sourced research, practical visitor information, and stories about the objects that remain. A location’s classification, access, and verification are separate questions—and our records treat them that way.

This independent project was created by Berlin Experiences. The atlas is designed to be useful in its own right: for researchers, visitors, and anyone curious about history.

The atlas now includes public listings from the Federal Foundation and Berlin Wall Archive. These are source-listed research records, not independently verified visitor destinations. See the import and source notes, read our methodology or share a location for review.
