How to cite

What is not included
Photographs are not part of the dataset. They keep their own licences, which each site’s page credits. Nor are the positions taken from the two source inventories, the Federal Foundation’s Berlin Wall worldwide and the Berlin Wall Archive: 250 sites rest on one, and for those the dataset gives the inventory’s own number and a link to its entry, where the position can be found. The inventories and every cited source belong to their publishers; the dataset links to them and does not reproduce them. OpenStreetMap was used only to check positions. Listings still being researched are not published, here or elsewhere on the site; sources and coverage says how many there are.
