A large piece standing on a street in a UNESCO-listed Nova Scotian fishing town.
A large piece stands on Duke Street in Lunenburg, a fishing town of about two thousand people on the Nova Scotia coast whose old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is among the smallest places in the catalogue to hold a piece, and a good illustration of how little correlation there is between the significance of a site and the size of the town that ended up with one.
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 23 records that James J. Kinley brought the segment to Lunenburg in the late 1990s and put it on display at the entrance to the Lunenburg Foundry, wanting to honour the German heritage of the area, and that in June 2020 it was moved to the front of the Legion.

Moving the Berlin Wall to the new location at the Lunenburg Legion — Royal Canadian Legion Branch 23 ↗
The Legion branch’s own account, 12 June 2020: James J. Kinley brought the segment to Lunenburg in the late 1990s and displayed it at the entrance to the Lunenburg Foundry to honour the area’s German heritage; it was moved to the front of the Lunenburg Legion the day before, with Demone Monuments providing labour and equipment.
