A segment inside a football club's training ground, painted by C215 with a portrait of Eden Hazard.
A segment stands inside the Domaine de Luchin, the training ground of Lille OSC, carrying a portrait of the footballer Eden Hazard by the French stencil artist C215 — Christian Guémy. Hazard came through Lille and left for Chelsea in 2012. The club unveiled the piece on 11 January 2016: nearly four metres high, 1.15 metres wide and over two tonnes, with Hazard on one face and, on the other, one of Thierry Noir's figures, of the kind he painted on the Wall itself in the 1980s. It opened a year of cultural projects at Luchin that became the ART LIBERTÉ exhibition.
In March 2024, when Hazard came back to Lille and the club named a pitch after him, the segment was moved to stand beside the new Terrain Eden Hazard.
The club's announcement dates the fragment to 1961. Nothing else read here supports that, so the date is left out. It is the only record in this catalogue where the painted subject is a living sportsman, and one of very few where named artists worked on an element specifically for its new owner rather than for Berlin.

Installed at the Domaine de Luchin and painted by C215 and Thierry Noir in January 2016; moved within the grounds to the Terrain Eden Hazard in March 2024.
