Two segments a class of sixteen-year-olds bought themselves, after reading in a German newspaper that a building-materials firm in Teltow was selling them.
Two segments were unveiled outside the Catholic school Institution Jeanne-d'Arc on 26 May 2015, in front of representatives of the German and Polish embassies in Paris, the mayor of Colombes Nicole Goueta, and Nicole Fontaine, a former President of the European Parliament.
The pupils arranged it. In November 2014 a year-eleven German class read in a German newspaper that pieces of the Wall could be bought from the building-materials firm Klösters at Teltow, outside Berlin, and decided to mount what they called a peace action: they ran a painting competition in the school and raised the money to buy the two elements and bring them to France. It is the only record in this catalogue procured by schoolchildren out of their own fundraising — and it puts a name to one of the commercial routes the elements took, which is otherwise hard to document.
The archive inventory lists the same school separately, so two records describe these segments. In May 2026 the school's own report of its Franco-German memorial day still described the two segments standing in its park, and credited the project, begun in 2015, to a former German teacher, M. Belleuvre, and his pupils.
