A section of the Wall in the main exhibition space at IWM North, among the Cold War displays covering 1946 to 1990. It is the third Imperial War Museum site in this catalogue, after the Indiano segment outside IWM London and the section in the American Air Museum at Duxford.

This record was shorter than it used to be. It previously described the section as shown with a Berlin Wall searchlight and with Jock McFadyen's paintings Die Mauer and Christmas in Berlin, on the strength of an IWM page about McFadyen's 1990 Berlin commission. That page has since been withdrawn, and nothing else read here supports those details, so they have been removed rather than left standing on a citation that no longer resolves.
