A ten-foot section beside a relocated country church on the Great Passion Play grounds, carrying words from Psalm 23 in German.
A section about ten feet by ten feet stands next to the Church in the Grove, a country church more than a century old that was moved onto the Great Passion Play grounds in 1986 and refurbished. The section carries words from the 23rd Psalm in German — “though I walk through the dark valley, I will not fear”. The site reads the object devotionally, in the same register as Fátima: the Wall as an occasion for scripture rather than a Cold War artefact.
