A section of about 5,000 lb stands in the exhibit galleries of the Reagan Ranch Center in downtown Santa Barbara, shown with Reagan's Jeep Scrambler and the patio table on which he signed the 1981 tax cut. The centre is run by Young America's Foundation, which bought Rancho del Cielo — Reagan's mountain ranch above the city — in 1998 and interprets it from this building. The segment is used to make a causal argument about Reagan's part in ending communist rule in Eastern Europe.
