A segment stands on Astrid Lindgrens allé outside the town library in Trelleborg, Sweden's southernmost town and a ferry port for Germany. The address is an accident worth enjoying: a piece of a wall built to stop people moving, outside a library, on a street named for a writer whose books are mostly about children going wherever they like.

The local paper placed it between the library and the museum in 2019, as a gesture of gratitude. The Foundation's entry says whose: Carsten Bredlau, one of the Berlin children taken in by Swedish families under the holiday programme that ran from 1955 to 1995, gave it in autumn 1995; it first stood at the Söderslättsgymnasiet and carries Jürgen Große's Save the earth, one of the Indiano Global Messages painted on the Wall in spring 1990.

Wie kam es hierher?

Given in autumn 1995 by Carsten Bredlau, by the Foundation's account; painted by Jürgen Große, known as Indiano, in 1990.
