A segment stands in view of the public on the Elia Group's site in Schaerbeek, where the Belgian transmission system operator has its offices. It was unveiled on 7 September 2020 in the presence of Herman Van Rompuy, the former President of the European Council, and Martin Kotthaus, the German ambassador to Belgium.
Its route here is one the catalogue has not seen elsewhere. It is one of five segments sold at a charity auction at BRAFA, the Brussels art and antiques fair, at the beginning of 2020 — thirty years after the trade of 1990, and a reminder that elements are still changing hands at auction rather than only being given by governments.
