The Olympic Museum's collection catalogue describes object 34747 as a fragment of the Berlin Wall presented to the International Olympic Committee: a stone fragment bearing graffiti, 27 by 42 by 5.5 centimetres and weighing 6.98 kilograms, presented by the mayor of West Berlin, Walter Momper, through Berthold Beitz, an honorary member of the IOC.
