Berlin Wall pieces in Texas
Texas holds the Wall at two institutions named for the men who dealt with its fall, and at a hotel. The George H. W. Bush Presidential Library at College Station keeps a twelve-foot section, still carrying its graffiti, as the centrepiece of its Berlin Wall exhibit, the library of the president in office on 9 November 1989, with a sculpture on the grounds whose sister casting stands at the Allied Museum in Berlin. At Rice University in Houston a section at the corner of Baker Hall marks James Baker's part, as secretary of state, in the diplomacy that unified Germany; it was installed in 2000, eleven years after the Wall opened. In Dallas two segments stand in the sculpture garden of the Hilton Anatole, shown as part of a private art collection rather than as evidence.

Each site says what its evidence rests on, from Listed to Confirmed, and whether the piece can be seen today; a listing in a source inventory is not a confirmation that anyone has seen it. The research methodology explains how claims are weighed.
