The only two segments in Thailand, given by a Berlin businessman and painted at a street-art festival by a French, a Thai and a German artist.
In November 2018 the Goethe-Institut and the French embassy ran a fortnight-long festival in Bangkok called STREET — Urban Culture Highlight, given over to art, music and food on the street, with young artists from Thailand, France and Germany working alongside each other. Its first event was held in the garden of the German embassy, and what was to be sprayed there was not the embassy walls but two original segments of the Berlin Wall, given to the embassy by the Berlin businessman Axel Brauer and standing on the grounds since July 2018.
The French artist Kashnik, the Thai artist Mue Bon and Julia Benz from Germany each took one face in their own hand, then shared the fourth and made a single work on it in which the three styles remain recognisable but merge. Benz has said there were no detailed agreements beforehand; she painted a collapsing wall overgrown with plants.
The painted segments were unveiled on 12 November 2018 by Thailand's deputy foreign minister, Virasakdi Futrakul, and the incoming German ambassador, Georg Schmidt. They are the only pieces of the Berlin Wall in Thailand.

A gift to the German embassy from the Berlin businessman Axel Brauer, in place since July 2018 and painted at the STREET festival in November 2018 by Kashnik, Mue Bon and Julia Benz.
