A segment on the campus of a school that teaches in German among other languages.
The school is the Atlanta International School. It joins the German School Tokyo Yokohama and the Colegio Alemán in Mexico City as a school holding a piece — a small, consistent category of recipient whose job is to explain a country to children who live somewhere else, and for whom the Wall is now as distant as the Kaiser.
The school dedicated it on 20 November 2014; local press says it was arranged by the head of its primary school, Camille Du Aime, formerly of the Berlin Brandenburg International School, and that its exact origin is unconfirmed, probably the stretch near Kleinmachnow.
