A section outside a town justice court in the Hudson Valley.
The court is that of Stony Point, a town of about fifteen thousand on the Hudson. Like the Chicago railway station and the Spartanburg factory lawn, it is a piece of the Wall standing in front of an ordinary civic building that has no particular connection to it — which is most of what happened to the 45,000 elements, once the museums and capitals had taken theirs.
The Town Board's minutes of 22 April 2014 confirm the piece on the grounds in front of the Justice Court, and record its approval of an Eagle Scout project there: a walkway, inscribed bricks, benches and a poster on the history of the Wall.
